Our weekly round-up of the projects we’ve been working on and what the team have been doing.
This week we completed work on a small garden in Canford Heath for a couple with a small child. The garden has a modular sleeper bed with sensory planting with a new artificial lawn and millboard deck in antique oak. We utilised the unused space at the back of the garden and sectioned it off with a picket fence. We installed a rubber mulch ramp to make it easy to use.
In the office, Jordan has been working on some visual designs for some upcoming garden projects.
The first one involves the creation of an outdoor kitchen at a previous clients’ garden. The kitchen would be a block and render structure with a granite counter top. We’ve allowed for plenty of storage cavities so the client can keep everything they need outside. The design also incorporates a pizza oven, space for a fridge and BBQ area.
This next design is another one that Jordan has been working on. This is for an upcoming project on a corner plot garden. The design aims to link up three spaces within the garden using a single pathway. The garden would have separate paved areas and include planting.
The team have also been working on this block and rendered planter for a couple in Alder Hills, Poole. The focal point of the planter is a water feature. A slate veneer cladding will be added to the exterior to add interest.
